@Lemonside The last page in the afterstory leads me to believe that the sister has passed given the context of the hand-me-down clothes and the shovel that is placed on top of the softened soil. To top it all off, the are having sexual intercourse near in the forest near this aforementioned place. Hopefully this isn't the complete end to this story as I would like to see the events that take place before the afterstory to resolve my speculations.
