@rule4 the final si a happyend, she calved her babe called hana, and the last page means her personality dying reborning to another one. I dont know but i read in JP and that makde a sense
She was actually hallucinating and the proof of that lies with her saying "I'm glad" at the start of her trip and repeating it out loud at the end. In her delirious state she's talking out loud saying that she was "glad" that she had hana as she's imagining what the future could be like if things would've worked out, when in reality she's coming to the end of her high and is still bloody and bruised laying dying in the bathroom. The last panel is proof of that, read it again and pay attention to her strained dialogue (TLDR There is no salvation, author is ruthless).
If it was a trip, it was way too vivid and distinct to be a trip. The look on her face in those last few panels is basically one of "I can't believe how bad it got". Her previous trip was established to basically be her blissfully blanking out, but not really a concrete scenario (which is pretty accurate if you've ever talked to a heroin addict). You wouldn't be thinking of your problems, but rather they'd just wash away.
The feels got me good, that was sad ;_;. I don't know who recommended me this or where I found about it but it sure gave me some feels.

I am very happy for Saki despite all the suffering they went through alone at the end got the happiness and love it deserves

The Saki was in my opinion the least bad character, she made mistakes, but never harmed anyone, unlike the hypocritical society under a false moralism chased, mistreated, raped and robbed. It was the true face of evil without remorse. I believe that saki survived and she was remembering everything that she's been through, their mistakes and failures. This manga to my view comes the full human freedom in doing everything, but also the consequences of our choices. She was a young man who unfortunately didn't know make the best choices and suffered from extreme way, in the end had the chance to repent and change. Nothing prevents in the story that saki was rescued, their attackers arrested, his daughter recovered and your money, when the police showed up, was taken to hospital and received amparo until State could survive with your job when it was bigger. In the end she just repensava the moments in which she lived. A person having an overdose cannot have a mind as clear as what she had,

or those ho say she die, in the last pannel before she appear whit her daugther she still has the glasses in the head, so if she die how the glasses end up in the floor? the last pannel whit the broken glasses are just a representation of what she left behind in order the repair her life. Shindol make a thind of depresing works but sometimes he do a good endingd as well. Saki got a shit life for making bad decitions but in the end she got the chance to get a better life all doing it by herself, just need the right motivation. What its shindol trying to tell us whit this? Maybe you could have a shitlife but some people maybe has a ven worse, you can change that but only if you want it do it.

The ending is so fucked up.... and I love it. The story is so brutal, just destroying reality for most people. And those who don't say its that bad can comprehend it mainly because they notice how horrifying the world is. Shindol is an amazing artist that I personally prefer to read, not because its gives me gratification, but because the stories are more than possible in our real life situation. It can happen to anyone.

Upon further research on Shindol's twitter, there's a tankoubon coming out for this series that will include new content, and if any of the teasers he's posted have anything to say about this, there might actually be hope for Saki-chan after all.

But the outcome is only going to be "obvious and [definitive]," to me at least, is if Shindol himself says it is explicitly the case or can be quoted saying it somewhere already. Even then, with the whole Death of the Author theory/viewpoint, even if Shindol, the author, says that's the case I don't even have to accept it as truth since an interpretation separated from his intention is just as valid if the world of literary analysis and criticisms has anything to say about it. Anyways, I'm not looking to change your mind or argue with you about this, you've made up your mind, as have I, on this; arguing with you anyways is just going to result in tautologies on both sides.

Ultimately it's still up to the reader what happens, and for me I'd like to interpret this as a happy ending, just cause I don't want to be so damn sad all the time. She died from od'ing and last pages it was a dream she had before she died . The VERY LAST page is a proof of that and THERE IS NO WAY u can give BIRTH after all that BEATING and HEAVY BLEEDING . Honestly I expected her to die at the end somehow still having a group of teenagers just appear out of nowhere and beat her just at the right moment wh n she went to get her money was pretty bs. It seems Shindol kinda wanted to end things quickly and chose this unrealistic and violent route. It would be more realistic if she just od'ed or even get hit by a car. Still it was a dark and kind of realistic story with a good amount of sex scenes. My biggest gripe with the story is that Hayate didn't get what was coming to him. Lastly if u liked this read Deep Love: Ayu no Monogatari It's not hentai but it has a similar premise.

It's a happy ending, all this time were the memories of Saki. She was dreaming with her past. It's possible that somebody found her and saved her daughter with an emergency Caesarean. Just one thing: Did you know that the attackers were her high school classmates from Ep. 01 and 02 ? Just look at the girls...

I think it was a dream, the last moment of happiness the drugs provided her just before death. That being said, it's obviously an ending meant to the reader's interpretation, and that is mine. You can believe what you will, it's OK. By the way, the glasses should have come from when she was rummaging through whatever she might still have left on with her in front of the mirror, we're not shown that she was rummaging but the onomatopoeia for rummaging, ゴソ ゴゴ, is present there, but anyway it shouldn't be something to overthink over lol, it wouldn't be weird for her to have clung onto a memento of her previous life all along (or maybe she just never happened to discard them and always had them with her) and at the end of her road, burnedned by all her mistakes, it wouldn't be unnatural for her to want to remember her previous life, thus producing and wearing the glasses (for the last time? Lol)
Shindol you are amazing... His most works are always rape,mind break/control,drugs and etc. category, have deep plot and sometimes depresing, but always have happy endings. I think this ending isn't dream but real and last page is just scene before that when she is a mother like Dking wrote before my comment. I understand it like that or maybe it isn't end yet. This is the realest thing i have ever read. This has happened so many times in real life, yet we still find it unbelieveable. ShindoL really understands how to induce us into thinking this will end well, knowing that this focuses on the reality. I read it with the perception of learning from this, learning that you are better of as a geeky nerd rather than a 'bad girl'. I will really look to buy this on a physical copy, as it deserves.

Shindol is a true plot strategist...yes it touched most of us from beginning to possible end...and you have to give shindol credit for their work as we followed the story from the beginning and we never strayed from it...moment of silence...

Realistically though she's probably OD'd and you probably wouldn't give birth to a healthy baby after all the shit she's put in her body and all the abuse she took.
