Uh, folks, if you're gonna talk about "peashooters" here, please consider the fact that when placed directly against the head, even a pellet gun can be extremely harmful, even fatal at times. Besides that, having a gun pulled on you is frightening like nothing else, and there are plenty of people who could attest to that fact. Shit, seeing someone pull out a knife is just as bad. Actually, knives are probably even worse... I've never actually been STABBED, but still, I don't really care to find out what it feels like; given the option, I'll take "fearing for my life" over "fighting for my life" anytime. In the long run, I can go without my wallet, my ID, my money, my car, etc., relatively easily. I sure as hell can manage that a lot easier than a hole in my side. I value my pride, but I'm not too proud to admit that knives and guns are scary. Especially when you're being shown the business end.
