I'm going to sound like a cold, insensitive asshole, but this short story is SO MUCH better than the steaming pile of shit w/c is 5cm/s's plot. The only good thing about the ending was the 1st girl dodging a bullet with that pathetic, ungrateful, and insensitive bitch of a male protagonist. Girls are practically falling for you, and you don't even bother to acknowledge 'em or atleast keep in touch? And then you wonder why your social life (or life in general) is miserable!? duuuuuuuuuude... atleast this guy here will cum back to visit her girl

I think you guys should read the dialogue between them when they were doing it. The Girl is not going with him to Tokyo, she just want to see him off with a smile because the boy asked her to. And also the boy promised that he will come back because he want to do 'it' with her again

Ah my bad, I should go to bed. RE-looking at it, hes moving and she just went to go see him off with the sincere smile she promised him. for some reason I thought she had the suitcase. At anyrate hes going and shes seeing him off with the promised smile

to be more clear since I realized how little of an explanation that was: he was off to go visit home/see her, but she came there with a suitcase, presumably because shes there to be with him. (Cuvie is rather bubble gum with his works, so this is a pretty safe assumption)
