The scene where Taki, Mitsuha, and Mitsuha's grandma is only Taki's dream and why Mitsuha's grandma is there because she't things s know everything so Taki could move on his feeling to the present and future, not to fretting about things he forgot in the past.

Most people won't get this as Your Name hasn't come to US theatres yet, but even for those that have watched the film this is confusing...and contradicts the plot of the movie...
