Let me clear this up again. When the dark elf resurrected him, he wasn't resurrected as a human he used to be. Instead he was resurrected with dark elf astonishing magic which made him live a very long time. As for the elf, well elf lives a very long time probably (according to cliche titles for elf's age) a 200+ yr is 20 yrs in elf years.

The last couple of ending pages always puzzled me. Obviously, it has to be the future in the setting because all the demi-humans and humans are getting along and technology is more advanced, ect. - but who the fuck is that guy? The MC? His decedents? Part of me wishes it hadn't just stopped there. Think of the demi-human/human sex pair ups and "cultural exchanges," author!

So since he is dead, and revived.. judging from the end he was still alive tho it looks more futuristic?
