Admittedly, the art is very good and the story draws you in... and it seemed that the asshole got what he deserved (knife-in-back-pocket) but it sucks for the MC, unmarried and suffering for ED from all that trauma although if not for his paintings I think he would have been in a Psychiatric ward...
