I always forget that these end with a twist so I’m surprised every time. I don’t know how I forget because I’ve read almost all the others on this site.

Once you expect the twist it just doesn't hit you like it used to

I excpetxed a twist end so this wasn’t surprising. If anything the fact it isn’t incredibly depressing (relatively) is more surprising than the story itself. Ichihaya continues to write really good stories, I’d love to see a manga from him one day.

@nhat2410: I agree. It's not bad compared to his previous one, but it's still bad in its own right.

Not too shocking, Ichihaya always have that same twist at the end.
