I feel like part one antagonizing the main guy (bully) was a bad move, as it took away the "NTR" vibe and turned into some sort of revenge bully. Now readers would mostly feel just desserts for the main guy cause he made the mistake first. Moreover, his feelings for the girl wasn't really developed upon enough for the readers to sympathize with him. The NTR effect is almost gone with this.
