I've got nothing against you, but man you really have a knack for making the most obvious speculations and making them sound profound. @NullHorizon, yes the author most likely made the marriage scene lighter as to show that it was her dream and not foreshadowing. The text, her tone and face, the situation, and the fact that saying "and lived happily ever after" would take away from the plot all seem to suggest this. If the author wanted foreshadowing then they would have made it more obvious.
