I'm not "huge" either, so I'm not sure if the intended demographic is for fat guys. If you're going off the fact that they're fat, then should'n't you also consider the fact the disgusting characters are old? And, for some reason, I doubt most of the people reading hentai in Japan are old or fat. Besides, in most hentai series the characters are usually young, relatively in shape males. I'd say that the fat stereotype comes from typical depictions of "otakus" as overweight and disgusting males, although I can say most of the people who enjoy anime and hentai are normal people. Although, if you consider yourself an "otaku", it probably doesn't mean what you think it does and you should stop.

I honestly like these hentai where you have the "ugly guy" contrasting with the "cute / sexy" girl. It makes the girl even more attractive and makes the sex that much more filthy.

@azninjazn - It's safe to assume the majority of the intended demographic is uh... well... fat... like the guy in this japanese comic so the author, understandably, is doing us a favor by making the guy here as close to the average physical features of the intended demographic making it easier for us to visualize and fantasize what it's like to have "intimate skinship" with what I can assume is the target demographic's ideal uh.... partner... I mean, doing this in real life is not only taboo but is very much illegal so uh... there you have it... I hope my explanation helped...
