@tkmasterx - Actually it's shown Nami holding onto Luffy's hat a few times. She's one of the few people allowed to hold and wear it.

@TsukikoSnow that was different. he only had her hold onto it while he took care of arlong. hes had people hold onto it before. i dont think he would give nami the straw hat to nami for a long term goal like "making her dream come true" before he kept his own promise to give it back to shanks once hes become a great pirate.

@tkmasterx Luffy gave his hat to Nami back in the Arlong Park Arc.

totally was digging it until luffy gave nami the hat. luffy would never do that before giving it to shanks lol.
