Ooh, that... Yeah, I was curious about that too. Kinda funny, since was just recently playing the DS remake of Dragon Quest V where they did something similar for the speech patterns of the final boss. ...Come to think of it, KonoSuba is actually pretty heavily influenced by the Dragon Quest series, huh? Both as a parody and tribute, I guess.
